I didn’t see it, how exactly did he strongly suggest this?
- walleyeb1

Well, to me at least, he seemed to have a pretty serious look on his face. I'm no body language expert by any means, but he seemed very sincere in his comments. "very worried about this team", or something very close to that. I would think someone like him or Eddie-O might have a pretty good feel for what all the issues on and off the ice are with the Hawks.

Nope. My guess is a former blog name who was off the board for a while. Cleverness is his forte. But there is no way to know or waste time wondering. Anyone could be Stan Bowman

What would not surprise me is, that McDonough has some intern read hockeybuzz and report to him the gist of how he is treated by the blog's readers and JJ + Justin.

Unlike some executives I can not only read but also comprehend what was written. Don’t need an intern for that.

I worked in Wrigley before the renovations, I’ve smelled worse. Now get back to work. I had to offer discounted tickets on “cyber-monday”. One trade with the worst franchise in the west isn’t going to cut it.

You already cancelled afternoon nap time. Next you'll tell me wacky tie Wednesday is off.

You may run the front office (for now) but I will forever be the ruler of eurosmurf kingdom

Yes that was a complete idiot move ,and against a DIV. rival . Breaking up the 4th line was bad enough . Coach Q ego stands in the way of this team ever finding any chemistry or getting on any kind of roll .It's to bad but I think the FO will wait till the off season to fire the coach or kick him upstairs

Tin foil idea time: Seabrook turns into Forward Byfuglien

It's crazy, it's stupid, it's insulting to his history here. But who knows.

Q played 7 Defensemen last night, probably because Panik got traded. Check out Daily Faceoff's lineup breakdown: https://www.dailyfaceoff....ckhawks/line-combinations

Does this mean Seabrook is our new RW? No

They only did it because they had to show him in the lineup one way or another.

Could Seabrook pull a Byfuglien 2010-2015 with some RW play? I could see him parking in front of the net and causing some commotion. Anybody else entertain the idea?

I think there was probably a reason Jurco wasn't ready to go and Q wanted to

1) Reward the 6 D who played decent against Ottawa the night before by keeping them in the lineup.
2) Get Seabrook back into the lineup

Also, he doesn't mind double-shifting the best offensive player on the team.

And the Duke comes to town a nd Jurco goes back sight unseen and all to massage Seabrooks feelings?Q admits that playing 7 D isn't a good thing for this team yet he does it all the same I guess he was betting on the different outcome which is just insane.

Ok Duff.....question about your boy.....whose decision was it to bring up Vinnie.... Q or SB ?
Obviously they don't agree on much so somebody wanted him up.

Well I don't hink it was Coach Q since he used him sparingly and put him in the press box . .
