The Jets remember that last game we played where we got that lucky 5-1 win in their building. They're gonna come in with a purpose and embarrass this young, inconsistent Hawks team.

This loss tonight was painful, completely takes away all momentum this team was building and casts more doubt on the chances of making the playoffs. Back breaker.

None of it really matters with this club Bogie...

No chance they're gonna win anything, and the playoffs are less than 50/50.
Just don't trade assets for a useless rental...only moves for next year and beyond.

Really nice play by Keith there will full zone possession to hold onto the puck, skate it into the corner, and turn it over for breakaway.

I may be feeling the nostalgia but I just remember Saad being a more dominant player on a nightly basis. Will be interesting to see where Q slots Duclair next game.

Soft goal glove high from the blue line with no screen is the difference. Oh well, this is clearly a rebuild/youth movement year. Would love to see Stan add a high-upside young Dman to this group. Keith is frustrating to watch.
He stifles as much offense for the Hawks as he creates for them, IMO.

I mean sure we've had worse games where we've been destroyed and completely outplayed....but this one hurts the most because of the team we lost to and where we are in the standings.

Agree. Duclair is actually a futures move...younger, faster, cheaper. I think Stan should stay the course with this idea. Trading a sacred cow may become reality if this team falls out of playoff race.

Agreed...that Jets game could be ugly.

The power play is simple, Keith shouldn't be on it #1, and we need a tough mother (frank)er with good hands who will park his ass in front of the goalie, Toews can't handle it that's why he's off to the side.

Btw this is how you score goals in the playoffs half the time

It's simple. The front office will be forced to make a few decisions this off season and earn their paychecks.

It's frustrating when this team gives some hope that they have turned a corner and then you get a game like this.

Didn't get to see the game . Still don't think this a playoff team but glad the Hawks are still trying to get younger and faster . Saying that I think Duclair is worth the gamble but you have to wonder this is his 3rd team at 22. Again like the move but with Hayden in minors and Panic now gone we are again a very small team .

Terrible loss. Really has to fall on the coach again .Just stupid to dress 7 dman on the 2nd of a back to back ,breaks up maybe the best 4th line HAWKS have had in years ,then sends Hayden down WTF !! , PP is a mess and leaves the 1st (and most inept ) is left on far to long .Jettisons Franson who I think was very effective on the PP . Time for a change behind the bench and soon ..

keep up this pace vs WC leaders and they should be golfing by 3/1

Not only does it suck to lose the game and fall out of the playoffs, but it completely takes away the hope and excitement from adding Duclair. Just an all around deflating loss

he has done 7 dman gig before on BTB...kane got double shifted alot in the first 30 minutes and he got gassed

Ticket prices in Rockford are much cheaper if you miss Franson that much. You must be the only person other than his mother and father who still thinks he belongs on the Hawks.
