I know it doesn't always translate to winning but personally I LOVE the fact that we're back to being a team that fires a ton of shots, and spends a ton of time in the Ozone. Its fun, its exciting. We're offensively as dynamic and explosive as any team in the league. Toying with the puck at times. Right now we're leading the league or top 5 in SOG, 5v5 CF and CF%, 5v5 scoring chances and SCF%, and OZS%. And we don't have some abnormal SH% or SV%...AND we're starting to rise up the ranks in 5v5 GF and Goal differential. Meaning our hard work is finally starting to pay off, and slowly starting to show in the standings as well.

I really like how the defenseman are holding the puck and circling back forcing the forwards to commit to the puck or the pass which is creating a lot of room in the neutral zone. Also whoever doesn't have the puck is moving especially in the offensive zone, making the Wild skate with their man.

Absolutely correct.....he alone seems to kill our PP with his poor shooting and overall lackadaisical effort. I just don't understand how inefficient he's become at QB ing the PP. Heck I'd rather have Sharp on the point.....can't believe I'm saying that also.

Hawks now have 13 players on the roster under age 25 compared with last year when they had only 4.

And they look a whole bunch quicker and faster, starting with the backend which is where the offence always originated. And that's with Gustafsson and Jurco and now Duclair sitting on the sidelines.

Doubt Clendening sees the light of day at the UC.

As far as the trade, color me as one who is ECSTATIC beyond belief. To get Adam Clendining is a huge get for Stan.

Seriously, Duclair is a HELL of a flier. 22 years old, ELITE speed, offensive talent, cheaper. Gotta give StanBo props....

another downside of dressing 7 defensemen, can't go to the physical, energy line to counter the rush by the wild. could have come in handy. Now if Kane scores one or two with Wingles and Bouma, that would make it worth it.
