Blues would probably be more interested in Price than Pacioretty

Other random thought, Pacioretty will get a season ending injury a few games before the trade deadline. |

definitely a good fit. and i would absolutely love to see him traded. i just see zero possibility of Bergevin even entertaining the idea of trading him. ever. |

More plausible scenario would be the following 2 days before trade deadline
then, after the trade deadline

no trades until the management group is gone.
Brisebois (julien) the new VP/GM, let him bring his team and he gets to take this team in a new direction |

I'd agree but I think Bergevin is here to stay. I wouldn't even be surprised if he was still there next season. |

With the Habs playing 5 games in 8 days starting Saturday, this bye-week thing doesn't feel stupid at all. |

Not the best, but it could be solid. At least as a Plek replacement. |

agree. and to be honest, i don't even care. if he gets fired and Geoff Molson/Serge Savard are leading the search you're going to end up with Andre Savard as the GM. i like the idea of installing a hockey ops guy, getting Molson out of the picture so he can go sell condos and office space.
but same there... can't see it happening. |

When Scotty Bowman took over in Pittsburgh, the first hire he made was Pierre McGuire. To this day Bowman thinks his old protégé should be running an NHL team.
