Some Habs fans may overvalue him, but I think you go a wee bit the other way around.

He's scored 39,37,30, and 35 goals the last 4 seasons. Yes, he's been struggling so far this season, but if you give him a offensive minded and skilled center worthy of that name, I think you would see his production rise.

I'm not really commenting on Pacs, I'm just saying Nashville shouldn't give anything material for him. I'd take my chances with the current roster before I give up some elite talent in the pipeline. Maybe trade for some skilled-grit, but that's not Pacs' game at least not anymore. Pacs isn't a top line player on the Preds.

He's in the top 6 and probably top line, you guys won't have one 30 goal scorer on the team

Pacioretty will not get traded. Nobody will give Bergevin the return he wants for a guy who under performs come playoffs time.

Yup, and I like reading "shouldn't" rather than "won't"

Thanks

Tired of reading my team xyz will never do that or this or blablabla

Its not like you have control over anything bud....

There plenty of bad trades at the deadline, just hope we could be on the good side of one fort once...

You're actually making my point. "He's in the top 6" and "probably" top line. The fact that you can't say he comes in the number one right wing on the team tells me that you're not so sure of his ability yourself. By the way, Pacs won't be a 30 goal scorer this year either. He would come in tied for 4th in goals with Fiala and Jarnkrok. He's not worth mortgaging the future. It smells as bad as the Peter Forsberg trade. No way. No disrespect to Pacioretty, but let someone else make that trade.

Of course not. They'll win enough to finish 10th or 11th and draft Kyle Chipchura 2.0.

You don't think he would score 30-35 goals playing with Johansen or Turris? He scored as much playing with Desharnais and Danault here...

Poile did it before with guys like Forsberg (Peter) and Timonen.....

Who knows.... if he feels adding Pacioretty gives his team an even better chance to win the cup....

If you win, doesn't matter who you gave up to do it.

I never said Pacioretty would be happy about it.
