Oh, maybe, I just looked at Saturday. Still not that much. You'll be OK. We got the machinery to remove that poop pretty fast around here. - BashCH
I'd be more worried about the fact that it's 10 degrees right now with pouring rain and that we'll lose about 20 degrees in a span of a few hours tonight. Bring your skates. |

Yeah, the biggest risk will probably be breaking your tailbone falling on your ass on a Montreal sidewalk. |

It's bad, but I thought it would be worse. I had to go downtown a lot for work lately, and I've been invited to the Bell Centre a few times as well. I guess it helps that I know my way around, and can find alternate routes to avoid some of it. |

I think at this point the teams core is the problem and retooling is required. The issue is MB wont do it and probably cant. If he starts to sell off he would probably be fired because it would fully indicate that his 5-year plan was a complete and utter failure. If he stays the course it at least indicates he believes that the team can win and this year is just an aberration. - nords21
I can remember when simply not winning the Stanley Cup was considered a failure for the season. Sadly, in today's NHL Coin-Flip Era, those days are long gone and they're not coming back.
Bergevin took over a floundering club that had achieved 93 - 88 - 96 - 78 points in the prior four seasons.
In the five seasons since?
108* - 100 - 110 - 82 - 103
(* pro-rated to 82 games)
NHL clubs reached the 108 point mark (or 63 in the lockout season) 22 times in those five seasons. The Habs got two of those. They were darn close in two other seasons.
I think we can all agree that there would have been a Stanley Cup Finals re-match between the Canadiens and Kings in 2014 if not for the Chris Kreider hit on Carey Price. Furthermore, Carey only played 12 games in 2015-16, which was the low mark of the Bergevin years.
If the past five seasons have been a "complete and utter failure", I'd love to hear your description of what a losing club is - compared to a club that won 56% of its games and with a points percentage of .609 (the equivalent of a 100 point season). |

Problem is back, then it was the team Bergevin inherited, not the one he built.
It's gradually getting worse as he's modeling it. |

I am also going to assume that most sports bars around there will have the Patriots game on for after the game? Any recommendations? |
