Gudas was the name I thought of.

But your not going to get a top 6 guy for Gudas unless your adding to the package. You might get a PK type bottom 6 player straight up for Gudas I would guess.

I actually thought one of the high end prospects that have first d pairing potential....Sanheim or Myers. My buddy suggested Morin for Duclair...I said I hoped not.

That brawl I posted was in Montreal. Video looked really odd as the away team entered through the far side of the rink between benches.

And I wouldn't doubt Hextall was locked in a dressing room for it.

Yes I meant the game where Jake hit the post.

the brawl was definitely in Montreal.

For being viewed as a pretty tough guy, Shayne Corson doesn't really do a lot to help his teammate out. More of a "Come on guys, stop, please," take on it. Then again, it was Claude Lemieux...
- jmatchett383

All I can do is laugh when I watch that video. Brown coming out of the dressing room half dressed and then going with Nilan was priceless. Of course now Nilan says he should have taken his shirt off before he engaged Brown. I don't think anyone expected that brawl but the Flyers. There's many a report they had 24 guys plus the goalies during pregame skate and other things they did that day to make sure Lemieux was dealt with.

I was laughing too hard to boo when Jake hit the post and said to whoever was with me. He better watch cause some team is going to be offended sometime by him doing that and brought up that Montreal brawl.

Morin for Duclair would be terrible. Don't think Duclair has much value right now.

If it's Sanheim or Myers i would think that the player coming back would be a young NHL player.

I don't see any youth for vet type deals. Unless it's Gudas and your getting back maybe a 3rd line PK guy

just checked the standings and I realized I don't think I have seen the mayor around lately?

Wasn't the Mayor also a Tyrell Goulbourne defender?

He did a wonderful job of blocking Hospodar's uppercuts with his face.

Which at this point why would the Flyers bother? Gudas is more valuable/useful right now than a new third liner.

I don't see them trading Sanheim. If they do, I'll be pretty ticked off.

I don't remember much against us after that. I do remember him doing crap when he played for the Avs vs Detroit though.

Sanheim hasn't played in the last 2 weeks and they aren't letting him play in the AHL. Organization is clearly done with him altogether.

I want nothing to do with a deal for Morin. I just thought the way Ek worded it was that the Flyers had a top pairing so they would be fine to move on from another...those two are the only one in my view that fit the bill.

Darren McCarty beating the piss out of him and the poopshow that ensued is awesome.

That game also featured future Flyer Keith Jones turtling against Vladimir Konstantinov.

I remember that game coming on Hockey Night in Canada and Don Cherry showing the replay of what just had happened in the warmup...he kept bringing up the d man...I thought Crossman...but that might be wrong (it was 30 years ago) on the ice with no skates.

What would you do if the guy kept punching your face...I would have swept the (frank)ers leg as well...There was no ref to come in and save him.

Neither do i.

So from Ek's blog and trying to read tea leaves the only guy I could think of to fit a top 4 mold would be Gudas.

I mean maybe you could do something with Gudas and get back a middle 6 winger. Right now I am liking the top line. I think Raffl has come back to earth a little so maybe and upgrade there?

Nope, just pointing out that he returned the 1987 favor
