I can proudly say that I voted, which I believe gives me a right to moan and complain about things I don't like, but I refrained from voting for either the Democrats or Republicans, because I thought they were both pretty horrible people. That said, Mr. Trump won the election fair and square. You don't have to like it one bit, but he won it.

I can say the exact same thing. Hence my post about loving watching both sides explode as the other prods them.

Only one trophy I give a (frank) about and that's the big one that the last team standing gets to skate around with.

I would've looked at Bill's blog pretty strange if he told me in the Summer that Hagg would be their strongest rookie mid season. I sgree with it though. Good for Laughton and Hagg who were after thoughts after Hexy stocked the farm.

Curious what everyone's mid season prospect top 10 looks like. I know Frost rocketed up mine after I saw him in person in the middle of this tear he's on.

Hart
Lindblom
Morin
Myers
Sandstrom

Laughton has played well. just need to settle on the other 2 parts of that line. I dislike the 2nd like. Not a fan of Filppula and would really rather see Raffl on the 4th line if that meant the talent level overall on the team was better. as it stands i get why he is on the 2nd line.

I like it maybe Sandstrom drops a bit in the rankings due to lack of playing so far this season. You could probably add Patrick as the real Nolan Patrick will not arrive until next season.

Not going to start a huge debate on the subject but you do watch the news, right? The real news.

There is literally a massive investigation going on with regards to this that has the support of both parties. Please don't spout your beliefs off as fact. No one knows for sure what happened or didn't happen right now.

The Flyers have played top teams in the league this season and beaten them such as St. Louis recently with Manning and MacDonald in the lineup. I think that at some point Sanheim is going to be a stud defenseman on this team and I agree with everyone that he needs to play. With that being said by far the worst defenseman on the team is Sanheim who is also the worst defender. It takes a lot more than skating to be a good NHL defenseman and Sanheim is not there yet.
- MJL

I can see how its hard to justify swapping Sanheim for manning as long as he keeps playing well, or for Gudas, since he is behaving himself. But if they are not going to swap him for Alt, they need to play him sometimes. Since Hak has decided to change his pairings situationally (Provy and Ghost at the beginning of games, Provy and AMac to protect a lead), why not do that with Sanheim. Sanheim and AMac early, Provy and AMac late. Sanheim has never been paired with a stable partner. That's what helped Ghost and Provy, and it will help him.
