I told everyone he stunk

pretty sure only you believed me

he (or maybe the trade itself plus waiving Moulson) helped shake this team out of the doldrums

agree 100%

you draft Roquan Smith if he is there

- homiedclown

You going to the game Sunday? That would be hard to pass up. What's the scoop on the Jags? Can we get them? Buddy of mine brought up what I consider a great point. They have an opportunistic D, but Bills don't turn the ball over.

Holy S, so this is what a week long lead up to a playoff game feels like.

Three Sabres untouchables

Eichel
Risto
Middlestadt

This kid is exactly what the doctor ordered. Biggest problem in buffalo right now is goal scoring. He’s gonna help with that in a hurry (see Boeser, Brock and Keller, Clayton)

I'm with you also, A lot of people were praising this trade. Me I was not impressed at all. Meanwhile this guy is who is, a 3-4 line player. Yes does he hustle sure, only because if he don't show hustle he would be out of the league... Also he has been munching on press box food for a while now.. If you cant crack this line up, your future is not too bright....

What was the cost? 5th rounder?
Wilson coupled with Moulson being sent down rocked the team and woke them up.
It was well worth it.
Didn’t he help earn a Stanley Cub ring last year?

Did he get one? Yes. So did Chad Franking Ruhwedel. Did he help to earn it? That's another question.

But please, let's not pretend that having a ring means anything, really.

He played his role.
He’s a fourth liner and had 6 pts in 20 playoff games...producing at a .30 PPG rate...which is exactly what a fourth liner is expected to do. Exactly.

He ain’t Sidney Crosby and isn’t paid like him.

He helped earn the SC ring.

I’m not saying he is great.
He’s a fourth liner playing with Larsons who has what 6 pts in 40 games?
JC , of course his stats suck, the whole team sucks stats wise.
I could care less if he plays or not, but he ain’t the reason they suck.
That’s all, nothing more nothing less.

I don’t disagree.
But if we are going to hold Wilson accountable, ignore his play for pay at expected rates as a contribution, then I guess we have de facto agreed that the fourth line is inconsequential and isn’t the reason for our sucky-ness either.
So why even bring him up?

Let’s focus on the sh!ty Top 6 and Top 2 Pairings.
