Bailey will be my pick for a surprise move. GMJB knows he can't score at the NHL level unless with a guy like Jack, and Jack's talent won't be wasted on having Bailey as his winger.

I think it will depend a lot on how he finishes this tournament. he has proved that he is still a floater and a liability without the puck. This tournament was an opportunity to show that he has matured in that area. He has not. I could see him moved. Especially if the new regime was not high on him to begin with.

Yea I agree. I kinda have always thought that one of Bailey or Baptise would be moved at some point.

Would be an odd choice.

Botts takes no heat if he doesn't pan out, but if he gets traded and develops, Botts takes a lot of heat.

Not a smart move from a self-preservation standpoint unless he's sure of his bust status

Thats the risk you take. If you are flipping him to get a young d-man back then so be it.

Personally I really do not like Nylander and I dont think he will pan out at the NHL level anytime soon.

He is one of the oldest players in the tournament and is barely noticeable on the ice. With the exception of one nice wrist shot he has been invisible. It seems all of his other points were just moving the puck on the PP.

He should be lighting it up against younger competition after playing in the NHL and AHL.

I understand, but I still don't think he has what it takes at the NHL level, I've never seen it. People are high on him, but I don't see why. He has the size and the heart to be an impact player, but not the scoring ability and that's a shame. Carrier seemed the same way. Baptiste seems like a true scorer, though. He needs to be given a shot at some point

Yeah i have really no expectations. I've seen him play in person 3 or 4 times and basically never noticed him
