The view from my seats was actually awesome, saw everything and was 12 o’clock high to see Miller‘s game-winning goal. It was absolutely freezing because of the wind behind us but it was well worth it being there. Team played horrifically after about the 10 minute mark of the first. With buffalo controlling play the rest of the way. I thought McDonough had an absolutely horrific game today as did Holden and they made stupid plays failing to just chip the puck out of their own zone and reset again.

I was not far from you Jan, same level, I didn't think it was that cold. Gotta go with the wool socks and 4 layers. I was warm as could be (didn't get much wind) and just got up and walked between periods to keep the toes from getting cold. All in all, fun day, great energy at the stadium and a win.

Plus JT Scored to win it which is always a plus!

Did anyone else see the eagle they released after the Anthem? It lost site of its handler and was flying all over, then after a bit it spotted someone who LOOKED like his handler and went to land on his arm, but the guy wasnt his handler and freaked because he almost got his arms sliced open by the eagles talons..lol
he started running toward the handler and the eagle realized who the right guy was and finally went to him. Comical!

I had several layers on and was pretty good. Had wind tunnel behind me, which made it a bit colder. Hand and foot warmers helped, as did the hat and hoodie on my head. I went into the Promenade Club during the intermissions.

Yup I did the same before the start of the game and then after the end of the first period, but between the 2nd and the third everyone caught on and it wasn't worth it.

So you guys could make out what was happening on the ice and who was on? Seemed like too much distance on TV.

His timing is just off. Has been for most of the season imo.
Having Holden as a partner doesn't help much either.

I can't imagine going past the 1st round in the playoffs with Holden in the top4 and DD as a 2C/3C...

A possibility is Cody Ceci, expiring contract due for a raise. If OTT is truly in sell mode maybe we could get him, won’t be cheap but he’s young so giving up a 1st wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.

Just got home from the game, my toes were frozen but worth it, another outdoor win is fun
- KreiderBomb

That was the only down side, my feet were frozen. Even with two pairs of socks and foot warmers. Very fun experience. Oddly enough this is the 2nd gaame I've seen the Rangers play out doors. This game was colder than the Stadium Series vs NJD.

Black winter jacket. It was worn by many today. I mean I don't understand the need for the Eagle to fly. It probably can't hear or see ery given it's surrounded by almost 50,000 people. Plus the fact, you know it's been bred to be a wild animal for centuries.

Easily, Think of it like watching an nfl or mlb game, the closer you are to the field the more dpeth perception you lose, as you move higher you get the depth back and can clearly watch plays develop. Almost like a video game viewing angle.

Yeah I loved my seats, Section 525, row 3, seats 23 and 24. Right on the aisles. Great sightlines. Being right behind homeplate had to be terrible. People were just as far away while being at the height of the boards.

So were we, and that hasn't turned out well for us lately. Imagine the eagle was disoriented by the bizarre situation it found itself in and tried to find the one thing it recognized in the crowd.

Exactly. For a moment I thought it was going to fly the joint all together.

Gotcha. Could you make out who was on the ice?
Had seats right on the glass just past the bench once. Worst seats in the house, we moved back a few rows more towards center and had a great time.

Probably would have been better off.
Missed the anthem so Didn't see the eagle, and don't remember seeing the return on TV, unless I was out of the room.
Glad you had fun and thawed out. I love being outside in the winter, but not sitting for a few hours.

Every time he opens his ,outh I want Jones to beat Milbury with his own shoe, or better yet, a skate.

Most Islanders fans would want to do that much more than Rangers fans.

My mistake. Turns out it was Burton. Sorry bout that
- 21peter

At least among those two together, Jeremy Roenick showed up again after taking his second splash, this time with the Polar Bear Club in the waters of Coney Island.
As for burton, J.R. never did take that dive with tom into Flushing Bay after all, once burton left Citi Field after the Rangers scored their 2nd goal around the 8:00 mark of the 1st Period for that purpose. There are no official words yet of tom being missing, as well as none he posted here, now 6+ hours after the game had ended, due to the obvious reason for which he wants the Sabres to issue him a refund.
EDIT: tom finally showed up after all! Welcome back to Rangerstown, tom!

Anthem was great, those kids did an awesome job. Jets flew over. Overall really great experience. Just froze my feet and face off. Had enough layers on the hands, torso and legs.

Turns out I'm 20+ plus year older and am packing a hog. Ok, I'll take it.
