Honestly, he'd be solid to have as a 3rd pairing guy that can play top 4 if carried by a very good dman that can move the puck, but for you guys it'd be a pure rental move since I doubt you'd want to pony up the 5M+ long-term he's going to demand and probably get from some desperate team this summer.

Half the Canucks fanbase craps all over it's players, and these "folks" aren't any different.

My hope is that Benning does his best to replace the size Gudbranson had on the backend, as the defense without him is Charmin soft and ready to get pulverized. Watch the same schmucks celebrating Gudbranson's possible departure complaining about how soft the team is come March.
