I don’t think Linden, or Bening or any other Management types that would, could, should be brought in have anything to do with if the Sedins will or will not be back. If they want to play another season, the team WILL sign them.

They stated that Hockey Canada was involved in discussions, so it makes me wonder if Kole was cut to allow another player to play, keeping in mind that they want Kole for Olympics.
MacLean mentioned Kelowna Rockets, then called them the Kole..owna Rockets during this discussion.
I know MacLean is an idiot, but he does tend to have a lot of contacts in the hockey world.
Also Kelowna would have had 3 of their best players in wjhc, while still trying to win division, this way they only have at most 2 players out of lineup.

Lots on here saying Vanek is a nice 'surprise' but really he has produced everywhere he's been whether on a contender or a bottom feeder. No real shock to see him putting up some numbers.
