He does, but it isn't a big one, and we have had him out of the lineup for games at a time and we were relatively the same team.

He's paid and played like a franchise player. He isn't, nor is he close to one.

- sbroads24

Common ground for the most part...overpaid, not sure about the franchise part though. He’s performing as a 2nd line center who is defensively aware.
At $5M-sh we aren’t having this conversation.

Which begs the question (at least for me anyway)...next year when Jack is earning $10M, what are the right expectations?

82pts minimum and a playoff birth. At that pay, you need to get your team to the post season even if you have to do it single handedly.

89,
Any word on what Botts is desiring for ROR in a trade?
Just wondering what they could secure.

The whole team stinks, has nothing to do with a certain line.

No, but a couple teams have interest. The Preds did before they swung the Turris deal.

For the last 2 years, he's been paid like a top 15 center.

His first year here (for at least the first half of it) he was playing like one.

He didn't last year, and hasnt this year.

No Letang, he's one hit away from the press box permanently and his contract is horrible.
- SABRES 89

I don't see any reason why Letang should be a target for Buffalo right now.

Nobody with a big price tag should be a target now, it's rebuild time once again, for the 4th time. Time to move out big contracts but it's easier said then done but not impossible.

35+50=85pts
55/45 Oz/Dz-start%
6+ CF% Rel
48%+ FO win

I would be curious if they put him on the dot or leave him at RW

right now RW is our weakest position up front

in a few weeks it could be LW though

I'd consider moving Risto at the draft if we get pick number 1 in the lottery

He's the biggest disappointment on this team this year, he's lost.
