agreed. he has been the biggest disappointment on defense this year. I also don't hate that GMJB took a chance on him, not every move is going to work. I suppose I would want him over Tennyson but it's a coin flip.

It’s everything.

I do think Bogosian being healthy has helped the defense, even if it’s slightly. But even him, you can’t rely on for any offense whatsoever, and Risto/Scandella are providing none.

I don’t think anyone pictured this defense providing this little offense

he's all but given up on having them move the puck. most of their breakouts are either just clears/aimless or two forwards coming back to help them do it. Takes them 6 passes to do what the ducks and preds can do in one or two.

I thought Scandella has been playing relatively well, and he was never know as an offensive juggernaut anyways. He should have had one maybe 2 last night.

we're like 4 months into the season after the last draft so the only guys up here from 2017 are your high end picks and emergency call ups

The 2nd-7th rounders who will become NHLers wont really hit that level until 3 or 4 years removed from the draft.

A lot of those guys consist of european picks who are still overseas or college guys as well.

The fact that roughly 5% of the draft class is in the nhl right now after a year and a half sounds about average.

Edit: it's also not "close to 500" its 417 so you're looking at roughly 6.5%
