Didn't completely backread that poopshow but my take on Hagg was deformed from the beauty it once was.

I never said Hagg was bad, just that the process of what he does does not equal the result that we've gotten over the course of a season. There's a reason everyone is "surprised" he is this good.

I am not sure Read is the guy i pair with Patrick. If we are going to get him a consistent winger then i would just bring up Lindblom.

At that point you're basically asking Patrick to be your 2C then which I don't think he is quite ready for. Long term though, I'd love to see Voracek on Patrick's wing.

As much as I love Lindblom, he is an unknown at the NHL level. I do agree with you in a way though, I'd probably demote Weise and Lehtera for Lindblom and Read if it were up to me.

I thought tonight would be a solid night to star the backup and then play Elliott tomorrow but then seeing they have a 4 day break until the Panthers game I guess you just ride Elliott both nights knowing you need points.

Can't imagine the roster freeze includes AHL/NHL recalls/demotions. I mean, what if a team had 4-5 not able to play for some crazy reason and they only had 16 healthy skaters or 1 goalie? have to think you are able to call someone up
