People get very enamored with guys that are traded away. Sure Pysyk has more goals than our entire defense this year with 3, but you have to look at the bigger picture. He has been on the ice for 26 of the Panthers' goals this year and has been on the ice for 51 goals against.

I would have loved to give them four week's notice, but standard HR policy is to lock anyone's vacation out once they submit their notice. Well, that falls across Christmas and my daughter is coming up from Texas, so that's not going to work.
One of those circumstances where the policy is actually really hurting them because they could be trying to hire my replacement now.

They encourage that with their policy, they really have to do a soft cost analysis as what the cost is to do a hurried candidate search to replace you against paying you out your time in an effort to find the right person.
I've been told if I put my notice in they'll counter me, like 20K higher than they're paying me, in Binghamton, NY, that's HUGE. My question is, why the heck if you think I'm worth that, do I have to go get a different offer before you'll act?
Further, they JUST changed their vacation pay out policy. If you gave your two week's notice you would get paid out your remaining vacation, so I would have gotten a full 80 hours. HR just sent out a letter an hour after I accepted my new job (they had no idea) effective 1/2/2018 people that give their notice will receive the pro rated amount of vacation for the year equivalent to how much they work....
So, if you have 80 hours and quit in June, you get paid out 40 hours.

Was told after Bogo's fight the other night, it was like a morgue on the bench and in the room, fight got nobody fired up. Davis Payne and my uncle's friend on the team were yelling at the players after the fight to try and pump them up and it did not a damn thing.

I mean, it's December and they have almost nothing to play for.
It's unreal.
Bring in all the rookies who want a roster spot, give them 5 games and let them fly through the wall to try and make the team
