I think he needs to stop trying to rush himself back and just take the time he needs to fully heal.

Not sure where you are going with this as there is still roughly 60% of the season to be played. I just don't want to see 2 of St Louis, Nashville and Winnipeg meeting in the first round if they all finish with top 4 records in the conference. Potentially having the teams with the 2nd and 3rd best records in the conference meeting in the first round seems like a pretty poor business decision.

Those are just the current 1-8 teams in each conference by Points%.

1 v 8, 2 v 7, 3 v 6 and 4 v 5 with re-seeding is a much superior format to the messy wildcard system the NHL currently has.

I'm calling it Simmer gets a goal tonight. He's overdue and those empty net goals don't count

Penalties are going to be key this game. The Kings racked up 15 penalty minutes against the Islanders where the Flyers have been very disciplined. Unfortunately the Kings have the best PK in the league.

No doubt it's going to be a tough game, Quick can be a tough one to crack and the defense is stingy. Elliot has been on fire the past 6 games: GAA of 1.48 and a save percentage of .949. I hope he can handle the workload.

Is it a new injury or a re-aggravation of an old one?

No one outside the organization knows. We don't even know what the original injury was. You actually get more info on Flyers injuries than you do with Phantoms injuries.

I don't think he returned, but I may have missed it. It is a nagging injury (I believe the same one that prevented him from playing on the Flyers, but they never really said what it was)

It's often a tough adjustment for Euros to make, the NHL/AHL season is a grind and a much more condensed schedule than most Euro leagues.

I watched this a few weeks ago. I always enjoy these kinds of documentaries. I'm not sure if it's the same exact one, but I'm pretty sure there was a documentary on HBO a few years ago that was very similar to this one. It could have been this though.

Not sure either, but will have to check the HBO one if it’s a different one. One thing I miss from HBO, 24/7 Winter Classic show.

Ice Guardians is available to watch on Netflix; I started watching it last night. It’s good! even the Broad St Bullies have a part in it. For those not familiar, Ice Guardians is a documentary about the history, development and impact of the Enforcer role over the years. Lots of great interviews with former players.

I've watched it twice already. Very well done.

Hope the Flyers role out the eventual Selke1C line to shut down the eventual #2for Selke Kopi line.

Good matchup.
