Misery loves company. People are content when the team wins. When they lose, they come here to know they aren’t the only one upset.

As for the game. 6 wins in a row vs. a good team coming off a few games they’d like to forget. Bad omen. They can’t go on a losing streak now, it would destroy their psyche. Gotta come out and beat the Wings.

I thought the team deserved better than the final outcome. I don’t get to watch a lot Flyers games where I am, but they were on Nhl Network. They looked a lot faster and hungrier than the last time I saw them. Elliot let them down in the first, otherwise, based on the general advantage they had in puck possession, they could’ve won it. That was a good team they hung with for most of it and I’m optimistic about them going forward.

Ideally they'd win out to close before the break but I can even live with 4 points. I don't mind if the team loses as long as there is effort there. Tonight they had effort. They are a young team , young teams go through losing stretches ,hopefully the young guys learn from them though .
