That probably was JB's biggest mistake was trading the players he picked. We certainly can use McCann right now. Forsling and Tree as a 3rd pairing instead of Hutton and Stecher.

Like you said no one is perfect. I think JB realized this isn't an overnight process. It's going to take time and patience.

McCann was good but a better trade chip at the time. Even now, I think he would be struggling to make the line up in a consistent manner. Is he better than Chaput and Menga.... Flucking ecoli is better than those two.

We need Thomas Gradin and Darcy Rota, Mervyn Ferdandez and Carl Valentine.

let's not get carried away....If McCann plays the remaining 49 games (he won't) and continues to produce at the same rate he will score 29 points. I'd prefer Chaput.

Against a team missing its top line, 2/3rds of its second line (Sutter and Dorset) and half of its top 4 Defencemen and playing one of our two backup goalies, a 6 to 1 final score is embarrassing.... if I was a flames fan I would not be bragging about this embarrassing victory over an ECHL all star caliber team.
