Canucks have been ahead of the Flames for most of the season, have 2 more ROW'S then the Flames and are a mere 1 point behind the Flames in the Standings after a 4 game losing streak, and could be 1 point ahead tonight. So whats Calgarys excuse. In the sense of the word "team" I argue the Canucks are a better "team" in the truest sense of the word. despite injuries there are equal to Calgary in the Standings? Canucks have better team structure it appears with not as good a goalie, with better goals against and special teams. Does that mean the Canucks are a better"team" and the Flames have perhaps a few better top end players or a healtier roster with better goalie? But not as good a team. I submit the Flames are closer to the Canucks as a team in terms of quality as they are in a rebuild and injured as the Flames fans want to admit. There both non playoff teams. The Flames arnt a contender nor are the Canucks. This isn't the Flames underachieving, or bad luck, there just not a playoff team based on merit same as Canucks.

Havent ordered any games this year, but he had pretty meagre stats until he got a hat trick a week ago. We have the best powerplay in the AHL though.

That 3rd line (or are they the 2nd ?) is really starting to look good ! Janko and Bennett look like they're going to be together for a long time. I don't think Bennett is going to be a centre any time soon and Janko is starting to make Weisbrod look like a smart man.
