No question. They can't keep losing at home like they have been (5-10 @ Rogers) and absolutely have to win in-division games like this. It was our bread and butter last year and that form has to be rediscovered.

Like he has the confidence to hold onto the puck in traffic and make plays instead of kinda rookie panic

Also, I’d like to say that nurse is just really fukin good. He’ll Never be a 1 stud cause he doesn’t have that calm smother ability. But man, he’s a quality defencemen and can make poop happen

They've been coming on lately, too so that'll be a rough game. Burns is back in his groove and should present a genuinely elite threat- and that's not even mentioning Couture's tendency to always murder this team.

6 PPs for the Oilers and 4 PKs so he's not yet a part of either special team. Kinda limits his ice time. He also gets subbed off in some D-zone draws in favour of Letestu as McDavid can't win faceoffs to save his life. Factor in that all 4 lines are clicking and you get the formula for not really seeing that much ice.

I don't think he'll be a #1 stud, but if this past summer taught me anything it's not to count him out. If he takes a whole summer and works on his shot, that's pretty much the last tool he needs to reach the next level of offense where he'd get PP time regularly (probably already should be getting some). He's tied for 18th in the league in EV strength points by a Dman and he walks the line and jumps down low better than any other Oiler Dman.

He's kinda got that Yakupov vibe in that he's an excitable foreign winger with a big shot and a doofy smile except Puljujarvi has "more tools in his toolbox". He's naturally an easy guy to cheer for.

We'll do both. We'll make a trade that swaps picks with NJ, they'll drop out of the playoffs, we'll win the next 49 games and then- by virtue of lottery god Hall- the NJ pick will win the lottery and we'll get Dahlin! It's a foolproof strategy!

Probably PK time as his defensive awareness and stick positioning is well ahead of most wingers. His speed only helps his case. Keeping him off the PP for the time being is probably a good strategy to help keep his 2nd contract's cap hit down.
