any recent update on Lindbolm and Vecchoine? - wcorvette
Vecchione will be out for awhile. No timetable yet for a return.
Lindblom (and Aube-Kubel) has been brighest spot the last few weeks. Putting everything together. Was playing well without puck and forecheck well even when the points were scarce but now he's starting to have pucks go in the net, too, and not just the odd bounce off his shin-pad or skate. Skill goals and greasy ones alike of late. |

Anyone think that the rumor between Flyers and Bruins discussing a Lehtera trade have any legs under it? |

From your lips to God's ears. At this point, if a center gets hurt I'd rather see them call up Vecchione and give him a shot. |

What is the rumor? Can't be for a roster player from Boston can it? |

I would imagine it would only be for a draft pick and that pick would be determined by how much salary the flyers would retain? |

Better hurry, before they check Sweeney into rehab. |

The Bruins want to dump Belesky. I'm not a Lehtera fan, but he is a reserve center here for the foreseeable future and his contract is up at the end of next year. I really don't see any buyers for Lehtera, especially a team looking to dump an even worse contract at the moment. |

Say goodbye to Freddie Galvis; Phils sent him to SD for a 21 year old AA pitching prospect |

Could we get 3rd rounder for him, like we did for Zac Rinaldo? |

I'm not even sure you could say they had a rough start. Apart from their atrocious penalty killing that has cost them some games they are an above average team and have played so. |

Phils traded Galvis for a 21 yr old righty to the Padres for Enyel De Los Santos.
"150 innings over the life of 26 appearances (24 starts) in AA and averaged 8.3 K/9 against 2.9 BB/9 with a 44.2 percent ground-ball rate en route to a 3.78 ERA."
I can deal with it. Rosenthal and others were saying this kid would be top 10 in most other teams' systems, top 5 in some. But SD is loaded |
