Awww I love you too sweet cakes.

Also he shot Thompson's ashes out of a cannon. He didn't send them into orbit lol

I guess when your job is computer doodles you have all the time in the world to google any and everything. I forgot that Depp said he tried but failed to get Hunters ashes on the satellite with Rodenbury. When your brain is full of life and death important facts it’s hard to remember trivial things when you have had a couple of drinks.

That's just insane. Ruhwedel is far from a dirty player. Yes, that was a bit careless on his part, but it wasn't intentional. The reaction was not warranted.

I actually think Hagelin should be tried with Sid. I remember Hagelin-Sid-Sheary at one point and that line was just buzzing around the ice. Hagelin doesn't have to worry about scoring, just his speed and puck cycling would work with both of them.

Ruhwedel isn't a dirty player, but that play was. I don't think he was head hunting, but that was far from unintentional.

I'm not being homer, but it was far from intentional. You can see them getting tangled before they were close to the board. He just handled it after that poorly.

He jabbed him in the back of neck. I think it merited a penalty and we got away with one there.

Definitely should have been a penalty.

It just looked more to me like he was just to push him down to the ice rather than forward to the board.

Man, the Pens have turned into a boring team. Crosby came to play but everybody else looks like crap.

I think it's only been two or three games this season the Pens ALL showed up to play

Also when I posted the Letang to Buffalo I thought what if it really was a shake up. I can't see a one for one trade. The more I think about it I can see multiple pieces getting swapped.

PENS: Okposo and Kane (one or both have salary retained)

BUFF: Hagelin, Cole, Sheary and a pick.

Or

PENS: Okposo, Kane (one or both have salary retained), Reinhart, and Ristolainen

BUFF: Letang, Hagelin, Sheary and picks.

Most will think I'm crazy, but if you think about it. Botterill has seen how Hagelins speed can change a game so he would have value to him. Also he would probably give us the highest value for our players. We would probably have to throw in higher picks with Ristolaien and Reinhart coming back, but Letang being as good as he is and being a right hand shot should have good value which may be able to land a package similar to this (plus defensemen have higher trade value). I read somewhere Pens wanted to get players who could add net front presence and still play with our current style and I feel Kane and Okposo fit that build.

Absolutely not. Risto (frank)in sucks. Reinhart is blah right now. Okposo is overpaid. Kane is UFA. This trade is awful.

He's fixated on sending Letang to BUF for some reason.

Haha I've actually never read any of his stuff. I just love dumping on Hunter S. Thompson because his fans always get super defensive and riled up. Its a low hanging fruit troll.

Hahahahah it's actually a lot of fun to read. Hells Angels, Fear and Loathing, and the Rum Diaries are all entertaining.

Sid, Geno, Phil, and Letang should not be traded, anytime soon, or even ever for the rest of their contracts. Ride those 4 out until someone of equal skill comes from within the organization.

Agreed.

With the cap potentially going up A LOT, this is a prime chance for the Pens to really build around those guys, not replace them.

They can keep this team a contender for the next four or five years.

Now that was pretty. It's gonna be a good cushion when the Pens let up goal AZ is about to score on this PP.

Rowney just roofed a cross body one timer like Buchnevich earlier this week.

I'll say this... I like Rowney and I have no problem with him being the Pens' 4C. The problem is you can't have both someone like Rowney AND Reaves on the fourth line... only one.

The Pens don't necessarily need a center like Cullen on the 4th, but they need a player, wing or center, like Cullen on the 4th.

Agree entirely. It was always a possibility that we might have a down year. Honestly, I'm really not surprised. They just don't have the same legs and the roster isn't as deep. I don't want Rutherford doing anything stupid simply to wash out in the first round. Trading Letang would be something stupid.

Completely agree! We may never have a core that talented at the same age again. Just ridiculous talent with those four.

I also am not moving Murray or Jake on his entry deal. Probably hard to get me to move Schultz.
