Defensively he's still pretty decent. But on offense he's invisible.

5 pts in his last 10 games, pretty noticeable out there. The 3rd line has been creating a lot of chances lately and he's been involved in most of them.

He scored a lot of goals playing with elite talent. Little harder to sit and one time pucks when you’re on the 3rd line. He is what he is at this age. I’ve liked his play the last 4-6 games. He did have surgery in the off season sure his overall game suffered bc of it. I bet he has a nice second half.

Nice effort tonight, a lot of positives for this team.

Sunday game at home (last one for a while) vs. Minnesota, with Dubnyk out, need to take another win.

Even with this win streak, there might be a deal that happens before they take off for their December road trip.

just when ya think things are about to hit a brick wall with a road game vs a pretty good WC foe...a game like this comes along to completely rock your expectations...

best of the year vs a WC foe and it aint even close: the hawks owned them other than maybe 5 minute from beginning to end....oh so nice to load up vs that goalie who has stoned the hawks over the last 2 years.

interesting four of those goals were deflections; 3 off jets sticks: hino, wingles, and kempny

Didn't catch the game last night as finals are being a female dog currently, though I'm hoping for Pageau for kempny++ (depending on ruttas health). I'd might be willing to let Sikura go for him.

Hawks playing solid. That may have been their best game of the year. Watta tough division, 4 wins in a row....still outside the playoff bubble.

Big game Sunday against Minny. Go Hawks!

Was able to only watch the 1st half of the game last night Hawks looked good.

Stats are interesting. Jets out hit the Hawks 25-2. I think those are tracked by home-ice officials but still, it sure seemed like the Hawks threw a few more than 2 total.

I guess it helps when you have possession of the puck.

What's the size difference between ADB and Toews, and why does it seem ADB is stronger in board battles?
- tvetter

Watching last night's game not much to complain about the Captain he was pumping those legs every shift, that goes for all the core players. That's all I want to see sure they will lose some games....

You must be joking-
Not sure what game you’re watching my friend

Every Hawk including the Equipment Manager is into this game- in every zone - every face off - every puck battle and every period including 19 & 20

Give your head a shake my friend

I was one who was not impressed with the signings of Wingles and Bouma but have to say good moves by Bowman . Love the way they play .

If you add Crawford then they might consider it.

Kempny played well, according to retired Brian Campbell (filling in for Troy). There is a better opportunity to play well when the team shows up for 60 minutes. All four lines are contributing; Hinostroza move pays dividends in two ways....as it opens up the ice on his line because defensemen are wary and back in. In turn DeBrincat now is a plus add to Toews and Saad. This line had many good chances albeit no goals

Certainly have to put Kempny in the picture after the encouraging showing. Teams need to be deep at his position both regular season and, moreover, playoffs.

Kempny is the only prospect among those here and in pipeline who is big and plays with a toughness compete attitude. Please be very careful before he is jettisoned.

I bet Sikura is as good if not better than Pageau will ever be. You know who knows about that? Team scouts and Bowman too6ý based on Bowman watching Sikula and hearing from his scouts. Sikura could step in right away..Pageau was a farm club add.

Both can register points but the better talent is probably Sikura. If you even have a hint that this is true, you sign and let him play some games

Later you might have more value available if you decide to trade one of three smaller skill guys. You may then even want to entertain trading a smaller skill forward for a larger sized forward whom is good at face offs and willingly plays near the net.

I do not know why we are even discussing Pageau. If this is the Senators player being referred to, then it is not going to happen. He is too small (180 lbs) and makes too much money ($3M+) for what he contributes. I cannot see this happening.

good. his goal was an absolute BOMB of a shot. but the entire team looked really strong last night. that's why this group is so dang puzzling...some nights they look terrific... other nights they look...well, not so terrific. they still need to make a move (or two).

I don’t have an issue with Sharp. He’s been fine lately.

I agree
- Enough criticism on this board to go around.

Anyone who has played this game knows it’s a Game of Team Chemistry and Confidence.
If your line mate or DPair is struggling you cover for him. You win puck battles, fight, back check, support and lose teeth if necessary.

Last night it’s what I saw from everyone.
