Just read a Lebron article on the athletic saying canucks looking for a top 6 forward.. Like JB is an idiot if he thinks a top 6 forward is getting us in to the playoffs. The team is terrible all he is doing is turning the team in to a buffalo or florida instead of a toronto if starts making moves like this.

If its LE or Gagner for Kane than ya sure but no one is taking are trash players.

Improving the team means adding prospects or picks. Not adding players in a ridiculous attempt to make the playoffs.

Glass being cut is the biggest surprise for me. Writing was on the wall with Lind. Happy for Gad and dipietro. Imagine if we drafted glass and both glass and lind got cut, streets of van would be lit up

Heard interview with Jovanowski. He was commenting on Gudddy having all the tools and promise from his draft but not putting it all together. That even though still learning as a 25 year old D its do now or settle time.

Last #1 D stud D drafted in the top 5 I remember being of Norris caliber worthiness was Hedman. This draft has a lot of promising D ranked high that you'd want to be in that light of excellence. But then again seems so many don't pan out.

They're already drafted it wont effect their future. They should be working on making their next team not some holiday tournament.

So Pouliot, Sven and Granlund were bad moves? I'd temper the absoluteness of the statement. It depends on the assets moved with long term and immediate benefit to team. It's a balancing act with development for players. Requires some measure of competence and talent added to make progress in the long road of rebuilding.

I had him penciled as the 5th center. Lind i'm not surprised but at the same time I think they could have used him more then a few others like Katchouk. I dislike him.

We will get a high draft pick and there are a lot of good d in this draft. Something around Hutton + for Reinhart or some other player is a good trade idea.
We still have Guddy and Vanek to trade for futures.
