Maybe because they aren't as bad as everything thinks.
- manvanfan

it really doesn't matter what we think. whatever the reason, the team seems on course for another top end pick.

that's awesome no matter what!

I'm hoping it's a smokescreen b/c he's been traded, this is an ongoing thing with this guy.

no canuck should make more than horvat (i'm going to ignore LE) until boeser gets his next deal.

my way of saying don't bring in ufa's that cost more than horvat until the team is really looking to contend. that way, the team will truly transition to the newly drafted core.

bring in a player whose salary is more than horvat's (and curse you LE) and it muddies the water this early in the rebuild.

HANSEN ----F*CK! zero for 20. 2 points.
- Beatle_john

I'd still be willing to send Gagner to the Sharks to bring Hansen back.

I had to get a new tv after Sutter pulled that stunt, as my remote went through the screen.
As much as I had respect for Sutter back then, he lost it all that day.😁

Bonino and Boeser lined up across from each other & had a good chat before puck drop.
Bonino: 'I used to play here.'
Boeser: 'I know. I have more goals than you did already"

I believe that it is generally accepted among everyone here that the team is playing terrible. Also accepted that losing Horvat, Sutter, Baer, etc should not hit the team as hard as it has. Horvat is great, but is he the difference in losing the last few games 25-5 total?

My point is that there has to be some other factor in play.

This may be WAY too early, but it has to be at least considered. What if Travis Green has in some way lost the team?

Green is a tough coach that pushes buttons. It is no secret that a lot of the players on the team are soft. I am hoping that is not the case, but what if?

- djlarose

I have to agree here

the impression I have from watching games and seeing an absolute jekyl and hyde performance wise is that it appears to be unrest within the team. Maybe some fighting, perhaps among players perhaps with someone on the staff.

the philly game seemed to be a real turning point. Theme of that game "passes to nowhere"

Im going to go out on a limb here....sedins vocally not happy with ice time. When your captain is unhappy it affects everyone.
Limb #2....gagne. traded often for attitude issues so it wouldnt be a shock for him to be an Ahole here either

Wouldn't be surprised if Lind, Gadjovich and DiPietro all get cut from Team Canada this week... None of them has looked particularly good in what I've watched so far.

Husband and wife watching TV and the announcer says that was a bittersweet victory.

Husband gets mad and rants that there is no such thing as bittersweet.

Wife says there certainly is and I can prove it?

Husband I bet you 50 there is no such thing.

Wife : You have the biggest d1ck of all your friends.

Exactly.
These stories of Benning working the phones for a top 9 forward make me a little anxious.

Just read a Lebron article on the athletic saying canucks looking for a top 6 forward.. Like JB is an idiot if he thinks a top 6 forward is getting us in to the playoffs. The team is terrible all he is doing is turning the team in to a buffalo or florida instead of a toronto if starts making moves like this.
