Hutton or stetcher could go. But I’d keep one of em.

Edler isn’t going anywhere this year.
So you keep him, stetch. Mdz. Pouliot. Next year add tree and oj. Plus 5-9 extras for injuries.

I believe that it is generally accepted among everyone here that the team is playing terrible. Also accepted that losing Horvat, Sutter, Baer, etc should not hit the team as hard as it has. Horvat is great, but is he the difference in losing the last few games 25-5 total?

My point is that there has to be some other factor in play.

This may be WAY too early, but it has to be at least considered. What if Travis Green has in some way lost the team?

Green is a tough coach that pushes buttons. It is no secret that a lot of the players on the team are soft. I am hoping that is not the case, but what if?

Nah. You’re looking too deep for reasons that are right in front of us.
Not a great team, punched above it’s weight and had come back down to earth. Injuries are playing a big factor too (even though coaches and players deny it)

MDZ had a great start but man has he been struggling the last few...cycles.

We have two backup goalies and neither has stepped up and shown they want to be #1. Waiting for Demko.

Hutton and Stech would be fine if we had the right mentors and top 2 D to pair them with...we do not have that in Edler/Tanev as on most clubs they would be 4/5.

Pouliot has looked good. Boeser unreal. MDZ will get it together but Gagner...maybe not. 4 games without Horvat now and Gagner looks lost.

Sedins/Eriksson aren't going to pick up any slack anymore. Sedins are cruising now.

It is what it is. We knew the injuries were coming and we had no depth. We need the top 5 pick way more than we need to be trading for the Wildcard spot.

Hope Benning has his head screwed on right from this point forward this year.
