I'm happy to have a conversation on whether or not the Leafs should re-sign JVR - I have grave concerns that he will receive a contract that will be a result of Free Agent Frenzy - not of his true value.

I'm happy to have a conversation on whether or not JVR needs to up his defensive game (actually, we all agree he does).

I'm happy to have a conversation on if we should trade him to get a good defenceman in return.

But I have no patience for people who say he's a terrible hockey player.

I don't really understand why this is a problem generally speaking... not talking about blowing your mind out on crazy benders... but relaxed social drinking... has several social benefits (aside from the asshats who still dwi)... shortened life span and generally more relaxed people (yes I know there are issues for those of the politically/socially correct crowd)...

you get to chose your flavour of poison
you get to determine how much you want on a given day
