I realize we don’t have a replacement yet. Don’t see the point in keeping JVR to help in playoffs when he is not going to be the difference in whether we can compete for the cup or not. However, the returns we get for trading him now may in the future make a difference.

Trade JVR and get what u can. Leafs are not quite ready yet and the returns will be needed for future core support.

I'm happy to have a conversation on whether or not the Leafs should re-sign JVR - I have grave concerns that he will receive a contract that will be a result of Free Agent Frenzy - not of his true value.

I'm happy to have a conversation on whether or not JVR needs to up his defensive game (actually, we all agree he does).

I'm happy to have a conversation on if we should trade him to get a good defenceman in return.

But I have no patience for people who say he's a terrible hockey player.

FFS, he's 3rd in the NHL in goal scoring for left wingers - and he's doing that at a cap hit of $4.25 million.

Disney bought Fox. Netflix is going to lose all of the entire Disney and Fox properties to the new Disney streaming service. So the only major studios they can get movies from are Paramount and Sony.
