I think we are gonna trade with Edmonton, Ottawa, or Buffalo. They seem to be the three we are connected with. |

Hopefully not roll snake eyes in Vegas. A player may leave with the Pens after the game - or if he's doesn't come out after the first period we know..................oh .....we..........know! |

I think the Leafs would be crazy to trade us a 3rd line center. That's one of those moves that could bite them down the road. - madmike71
I just think there's a logical successor in the system already, and if you can flip Bozak for a dman you do it. Let Nylander play centre and spread the young 2-way wingers around. Free Kapanen! |

Think Toronto loses this trade and also doesnt address their need on D. |

Letang is the "shakeup" piece in a big trade. He is the only guy outside of Sid, Malkin and Kessel (who are the only untouchables) that could really bring back the assets to boost the teams depth.
I'd trade Dumo before Maata.
I'd prefer to trade 1sts than move Sprong.
Sheary could be a nice piece in bringing back an upgrade on the wings.
Much rather pony up the assets for someone under contract like Staal or RNH than chase rentals like Kane & Bozak. |

Correct! Here's another one for you:
PIT: RNH, Kassian & Galchenyuk
MTL: Letang & Sheary
EDM: Weber & Reaves
Edit - Or:
PIT: RNH, Puljujarvi & Kassian
MTL: Letang, Slepshayev & Hagelin
EDM: Weber, Galchenyuk & Reaves |

Well yeah, he's cheaper and way more talented offensively. Like, it's not close.
Jordan's more reliable defensively and takes way fewer dumb-ass penalties, but yeah Eric is way more talented. |

Yeah, if the Pens plans were to employ a defensive 3rd line I could understand that, but yeah the 3m tag and Eric's offensive seems to lend itself to GMJR's 3 scoring line hopes. |

Nothing that you need that would replace the void at center that would create for you unless you made another move to replace him.

This is where I believe their thinking is right now. I think Cole for Bozak as the base part of a deal works for both sides.

All about the contracts lol performance based on cap hit is in my opinion what usually helps people decide about over/under-rated a lot of the time, unless its like an unknown player, or rookie or what not. |

Jordan's an elite shutdown center and he can eat a ton of minutes with ease, but his brother is way more offensively talented. |

I just mean thinking long-term and short-term. Short-term yes, I’d take Eric. He will bring more offense.
Personally, I’d like to see the Pens make more long-term moves and it’s not like Jordan doesn’t bring a significant offense boost. |
