Bailey has been in the sabres system since Darcy drafted him.
He shows flashes on occasion, but really can't stay consistent.
He turns 23 in July, it's pretty much now or never
2 goals and 2 assists in 40 nhl games, not exactly eye popping.

Also jbotts has his own guys ready for spots

I think with Bailey, that he’s only “kinda” getting a shot

When he played on RORs line this year,
he had 2 goals in 3 games
Then he got moved down to the 4th line, & of course didn’t score at all

I’m not saying the guy is great,
but let’s play him with some decent linemates for an extended time so we can see if he can score & be a top9 guy,
or if he can’t & will just be a 4th liner
