What's in the tea leaves for tonight's game gentlemen? Leafs outplayed and outshot again? Or do we bounce back? Will Marner or Willie ever score again? I think Willie is having major confidence issues. Anyone else notice he can't get his shot off? Keeps shanking it or missing it all together!

The confidence issue is a funny one. I noticed that when I go on cold streaks, I almost can't picture the puck (or ball in my case) going in the net. So last week I sniped one home top corner from almost behind the goal line, a goal way too nice for someone of my skill level honestly... but I kept that in mind when I was playing the other day, the feeling of putting it in the net. It didn't help me one bit and I launched all my shots high and wide, but it could work for Nylander.

Minny has been decent this year. They can really suffocate teams. BUT, they're relying on Stalock right now with Dubnyk out and the Leafs should be able to light up a goalie of his caliber.

Okay then! Clearly ball hockey lends us much insight here.
I play Men's League ICE hockey, should I fill everyone in on my scoring prowess, or lack there of? lololol

Don't know if you've notice, but we haven't exactly been 'lighting' teams up lately...

Eric Staal, with another career game against the Leafs, wins it with a minute remaining.

I'm probably too soft for a Belleville men's league - TheMussel
A long time ago, my team played in the Moss Park Summer Men's League.
There were a few teams who were criminally insane.
One time, there was some shoving after the whistle. Guys paired up.
Goon on other team: "You want to go?"
Guy on my team: "No."
Goon: "Whatsamatter, you chicken?"
Guy on my team: "No, I have press conference tomorrow at 9 am. I need to look good for it."
I'm sure the goon team laughed endlessly about it, but we always retold the story as a victory for us, because the goon couldn't think of a single word in response.
