Doughty isn't going anywhere. Blake is going to give him a blank check and tell him to fill in the numbers. The Kings don't have any other big money free agents coming up in the near future, so they can afford to be a little loose with the checkbook and wait for the cap to rise to gain more space.

You get every single offensively gifted player on the Oilers roster (minus McJesus), for a soon to be 30 year old D who may or may not resign with any team he's traded to. Oh and also a 1st. Its absolutely (frank)ing ludicrous.

Also (while I don't like his contract) Lucic has 21 points in 30 games this year. Ryan has 9 in 20, is a year older and is making 1.25 mill more per year, AND is signed for ONLY ONE LESS YEAR than Lucic. So (frank) that aspect of the trade as well.

And lastly, just because I feel like it...
