I'm sure they have. Is he the solution to our PP woes? Meh... not worth the baggage (real or perceived) and ya, the cost will be stupid.

He's on an expiring contract and has a bunch of perceived red flags. The price isn't going to be that high. The Sabres are going to get to a point where they'll just take whatever the best offer is because there's no point keeping him past the trade deadline. Then it just comes down to whether the Sabres want draft picks or whatever prospects the Flames are willing to offer.

As long as the Flames aren't trading away Valimaki and the Flames think they have a legit shot, Kane will likely be worth the price.

So tired of Flames having momentum and not doing anything with it.

Stastny on a 2 year deal would be perfect IMO, still brings it, over pay short term to get the last few productive years left

Been a fan for a long time, and he's been a Flames killer in his career, so wouldn't mind that one bit

Not sold on Kane. Would probably cost us Ferland and Anderson and a pic. Flames have a great amount of D depth coming up and not worth squandering it for a guy that is going to get 7+.

Ferland should be tied for goals with Kane but he hit the (frank)ing crossbar. God dammit we do not need to be giving up points to teams in the division.

Continuing to use Bouwer on the power play is just retarded! Then putting the 4th line on for the last 20 seconds, Minnesota gets a great chance!

Damn we really gave them the 2 points tonight, ferland and monny missed wide open net and couldn't ice it twice in the shootout

These next games against San Jose, Nashville and Vancouver are really big, the standings are too close. Time to move up

Thought Calgary looked to be the better team for definitely the 1st period and most of the 2nd. 3rd period both teams looked like idiots. Sloppy, bad passing, turning pucks over missing open/yawning nets. Wild were lucky to take the 2nd point.

The disconcerting part as a Wild fan is these teams look fairly even and the Wild were supposed to be as good if not better than last season...

Good Luck Flames fans.
