To Edmonton: Karlsson,Ceci,Ryan,Macarther 2mill salary retention for the last 2 years of contract.

To Ottawa :Drasital,Klefbom,Lucic and 1st round pick this year top 10 protected will be switched to next year if its a top 10 .

Don't think that Ottawa would want Lucic. If they trade Karlsson they'll be in a complete rebuild. Or, they'll need a similar player with a lower cap hit that's locked up.

I think that Ottawa would do well to look into Letang (if his health hold up), Subban, OEL....players that are coat controlled and play a similar style. If EK can come to terms with the new team they'd receive atleast one add on with the players named.

I definitly dont think that trading Karlsson meens to rebuild ,but more to retool and take a differant aproach .I feel the same way with Edmonton there playing crappy also but definitly dont need a rebuild just need to retool and having Mcjesus and Karlsson on the same team out at the same time would be devistating to any line that faces them.
It would be like (Metaphorically mcjesus aint no gretzky and karlsson will never be bobby orr) having Gretzky up front and Orr in the back , now thats a scary line up and i dont care who you are there just aint no shutting them both down plus the other 2 forwards and 1 defenceman on the oce

Apart from taking out his favourite seats from the Canadian Tire Centre (which really pissed him off), does he want to win a cup or play in a scf?

What teams can afford his high price & still contend? Can the Sens contend with him at that price - it is only 1 hit? Are the Devils interested? Can they afford him, Shero loves a big name?

Or doesn't he give a damn about chasing a cup & playing competitive hockey? I have no idea.
