Is it possible Housley has lost the room already? Because it sure looks like they are just doing their own thing out there.

you know it’s bad when you want Bylsma back, I hate that I even have to say that.

Nice play by the guy that hates to loose....

Nice to EROD playing to his potential. About the only one right now. As 89 says, we look lazy in OT. Jack particularly looks lazy in OT. Too bad for Lehner. He deserved the W tonight. He played great (except on the OT goal).

He went for the poke check and got it but it still went in the net. That’s quintessential Lenner luck.

In my case I wouldn't say Jack hating. Looked good most of the game, wish he'd shoot more on the PP, but that last play of the game was on him.

Just happened to be his worst defensive play was the last one of the game. Not many will remember the great one he had in the second where he back checked and picked off a pass. All will remember him letting Tarasenko go.

I agree, but jack 100....er 50 has to be better there... plain and simple. Although that backcheck in the 2nd was great.

If you think about it that's two in a row. Quite the opposite of what you call clutch.

Wouldn't you say Eichel really drove the plays that led to the goals tonight? Given that he carried the puck and helped open ice for EROD I'd say he had a decent game with one deplorable defensive play that let a great goal scorer win the game.

Careful... can’t say bad things about the guy that hates to loose....
Even though he’s a reason they’re loosing. Maybe our future captain will be drafted this year.

Theres just something about his approach to the game right now. He looks like he wants it to be easy, otherwise he's not totally engaged. I think Eichel needs to play on a team that is playing with purpose. You could't find a team with less purpose than the Sabres right now.

However I can't help but feel Eichel is on a manufactured path to being the team captain and franchise player, regardless of what transpires. They won't even attempt to acquire, play or promote someone you de-throne him and I think that shows in his play. He essentially blew two straight OT games for his team. A team desperate to win games and have anything good to feel about. You're not John Scott, you're not Nick Deslaurias, you're Jack (frank)ing Eichel. You have to seize moments. You have to be better than that.

Lehner's playing well lately. Any chance he nets us a late first?

he never had it lol

He's too Darcy and not enough Ruff, IMO.

We need a guy like Ruff to yell at them.

poop, I'd take Nolan over House at this point, I was baffled to find out that Lindy Ruff didn't bag-skate the team his entire tenure because he doesn't believe in it

You can't help but feel? He is signed for $10 million at max length starting next season. He's your franchise player, I don't think there is any question about that, regardless of what happens.
