Speaking of this, I've heard a rumor that Kane has lived at the Harborcenter since he came here, and has never bought a house or a condo. Anyone know if that's true?
- jcragcrumple

Kane has a sweet spot above the harbor center.
Super nice, clean and stacked with exotic snake skinned boots ect.

Also : co signs on vehicles for women all over western new york. When things "go bad" in the relationship, he stops paying the note and the vehicle gets repossessed.

He's not who you want on your hockey team

3. With Kris Versteeg out a long time, Calgary may look for a power-play specialist and someone who brings edge to their game. They feel a little “too nice,” outside of Travis Hamonic, Micheal Ferland, Mike Smith and Matthew Tkachuk. I could see the Flames part of a growing group eying Buffalo’s Evander Kane.

13. Don’t ask about Jack Eichel. Other than that, the Buffalo Sabres are willing to listen. The price would be high for, say, a Sam Reinhart, a Rasmus Ristolainen or a Marco Scandella — but it doesn’t mean they won’t consider offers. What might happen, too, is general manager Jason Botterill waits the full season to evaluate some of those core pieces before deciding whether or not to move them. Apparently, the Sabres want to improve their quickness as much as their talent. They feel they are too slow, both with their feet and with their decision-making.

14. Obviously, Buffalo has rental options with Kane and Benoit Pouliot. Kane will be highly coveted, and potential pursuers say the Sabres are looking at the 2016 Andrew Ladd and 2017 Martin Hanzal trades as comparables. Ladd went from Winnipeg to Chicago for Marco Dano, a first-round selection and a conditional pick. Hanzal’s move from Arizona to Minnesota (with Ryan White) was for a first, a second and a fourth. The Sabres feel Kane is an even better option, so they will aim higher. Buffalo fans are hoping the winger brings back a stud defender, but it’s hard to see that for a rental.

Kane's value is very high right now and Botterill has had a couple offers and still hasn't moved him. Just something to think about.

except for that scene with the Dark Jedi, I forget his name, who uses his "laser-sword" to hack and slash a bunch of dudes while also force-throwing them around but yeah, how dare a Star Wars movie not have Jedi and the Force in an age after all the Jedi were massacred and there are only about 5 known force users
- BeadyEyedDouche

Then why set a movie in a period when there are no Jedi when that is literally the best asset the franchise has?

And I agree the second scene with Vader was awesome. But imagine if you had never seen a star wars movie before. You would say "That guy with plasma sword was awesome! Why wasn't he in the movie more?"

The best things about the movie were downplayed and 2/3rds was unbearably boring. The final act was terrific

Eichel is young and still trying to learn the NHL game. Kane probably should have jumped in on the play but not really his fault. Tarasenko is one of the most explosive players in hockey and preys on weak defensive forwards.
Should have Eichel pressured him more? of course. Should Kane have stepped up sooner? Of course. This is the mentality of our team. Someone else will put the extra effort in. There is not a desperation to win. It can't be fixed with the current players or minor tweeks to the roster.
It's time to make hard decisions to improve the product.
I would rather watch 3 years of young, hungry players missing the playoffs than another minute of the current team.
If we need to package Lehner or Risto to get rid of Okposo, ROR, than do it. If we get offered a first for Kane, do it. If we can get a 4th for Jorges, do it. If we can get a 2nd or 3rd for Reinhart, do it.
Draft speed.

3rd leading scorer on the team with .66 ppg, takes all the important draws, plays all 3 phases, scores at a toews-like rate for 2.5m less. But yeah, lets get rid of him and use our best dman to do it
- jcragcrumple

Oh man, if you think ROR is even close to the level of Toews, then I don't know what to tell you. ROR hasn't laid a check since he backed his pick-up truck into that Tim Hortons.

Toews hits, plays much better defensively and has several trophies that ROR does not.

Honestly, ROR turns the puck over like it's no one's business. Every time he enters the zone he turns the puck over. No one's pointed it out but he has like 5 turnovers per game.

That's awful.

Hockey is a fluid game, and when one player makes an unconfident, hesitant play it permeates to the next guy and the next guy, then next thing you know your whole team is back on it's heels and the puck is deep in your zone. Hockey is like a dance, everyone has to be in sync so the game can flow your way. Watching the Sabres is so painful because it's a series of guys playing hot potato with the puck. Every guy approaches the game like "I'm not the guy are you the guy? No not me you take it". That's why even the better players like Eichel and ROR can't do anything because we just play a series of passes that make no sense.

Again, this is 100% what they do.

A lot of homers on here.

We're a split fanbase. Some want more patience and make all the excuses in the book.

Some, rightfully, are completely fed up with the poop show that is the Buffalo Sabres since Terry Pegula bought the team.

I dare someone to come in and say it was just as bad before. It wasn't.

If we weren't on the second rebuild in 5 years I would be more patient but i'm done. I would rather completely dismantle this team and watch up and comers who play like their lives depend on it then watch the loafers anymore. Picks, Picks, and more Picks please
