Agreed.
Switched back to Baileys this year. Far superior. Not that a goat herder would know the difference.

You heartless bastard

- VANTEL

You want to know how heartless I am? There is probably one player in history that I actually liked. I wasn't even born when he started playing in the NHL. There has never been another player to me that has come close to wanting to win, do anything to win.

Steve Yzerman

There is players i've generally enjoyed watching.

Kind of wonder why i'm not a wings fan

Do you think Hank would trade his trophies that he has for a ring and the Conn Smythe?
- VANTEL

Not really a relevant question, of course he would but that doesn't take away from the fact I believe Henrik was a special player in the league because he was an elite passer over the past 15 years. Only one man was better than him, that's a pretty big window to prove how great he was over that time.

I think I gave you my reasons why, to me Henrik was a better player than Brad Richards and he didn't have as many good players to play with either.

And by the way, there's been a lot of great players laying it all on the line to win, Joe Sakic was one of my all-time favourites for that reason.

I haven’t been to the woodpile yet. Soon.

It sure is nice to come on here when the last 4 paged are the regular crew. I like Sunday.

Mike Bossy was another guy that laid it all on the line to be a winner, for a slight guy back in the tough 80's he went to the dirty areas to score goals, probably why his back gave out after only ten years in the league.

GP 752 Pts 1126 - third in NHL history PPG.

Sakic is high up on the list of players I did enjoy watching. Same with Ron Francis, Crosby, I also liked Datsyuk.

Sakic would be 2nd on the list.

I always enjoyed watching the Sedin's play but they are missing parts of the game to make them the total player.

Bossy quit hockey when I was born. So I don't really know what he was like.

I so wish they had a second line or a line to play in front of them during their prime. They were fun to watch but you're right they didn't have that fighting 'will' to win. Perhaps they did but it did show outwardly.

Oh well....back to the drawing board.

One of my favourite players of all time. I didnt really like his philosophy on other aspects of the game but what he brought and did to win was pretty amazing.
