Love Boeser.

You see that tool Kypreos last night? Just can't give Boeser any credit hey? Tkachuk gets props and Boeser is twice the player but yet all Kypreos did was knock Boesers skating…f**ck that guy is a tool.

Nice!! Too bad it's only around every decade the Canucks select one great/special player, I count the Sedins as one because they're useless without each other.

2015 - Brock Boeser
1999 - Sedins
1989 - Pavel Bure

They played a good 50 minutes all things considered, you take a top 2 centers out of any team there will be struggles, played without sven for most of the game as well. Guance and jake had a good game and stepped up and BB scored so that's good.

Nobody should count on an idiot like chia too give up picks like three oilers did.....
- Pres.cup

The 16Oa pick was actually Pittsburgh that season.

Acquired from Edmonton with round 2 pick in the 2015 draft (Mitchell Stephens) for Griffin Reinhart. Pick previously acquired by Edmonton from Pittsburgh with Rob Klinkhammer for David Perron.

28OA
11 Acquired from NY Islanders with round 3 pick in the 2015 draft (Anthony Cirelli) for round 1 pick in the 2015 draft (Anthony Beauvillier). Pick previously acquired by NY Islanders from Edmonton with round 1 pick in the 2015 draft (Mathew Barzal) for Griffin Reinhart.

Pettersson I hope is a special player but he's not a proven NHL talent, and Bo, he's not a special player.

I don't think the Islanders had a first round pick that year as they traded it away to the Sabres for Vanek. Good asset management on Snow's part collecting some draft picks and using them to his advantage. He went from zero first round picks to two.

Horvat is a good player but he's just a good quality NHL center like many others in the league. Bure and the Sedins were special players in their prime, I can't see Horvat attaining that level.

Canucks need to start hitting on more great players!!!

Yes I did predict that in late Nov as well.

Oilers had some pretty crappy luck to start the year and McJesus lost almost 10 lbs with a two week flu. With a little puck luck and a healthy McDavid they should be back in the PO hunt within a month. They are 5-5 over their last ten and trending in the right direction.

- LordHumungous

Not canuck luck mcgrumpy or leon or both get hurt then what, they struggled with both in there.

I mostly agree but Hank wasn't a star in his first three years either. Bo has out produced him in the first three years

Agree but I don't see Horvat winning Hart or Art Ross trophies. The Sedins took a few years to adjust to the North American game and culture, something Horvat doesn't have to do.

Bo is also more like Daniel than Henrik, he's a shooter where Henrik is more of a puck passing center.

I believe you are right they didn't.

When Moron's like Chia are calling you with those kind of trades. Anybody can look like a genius.

He has to adjust to NHL culture .

I think he is doing fine and I don't want to guess his future numbers . If he plays with high end talent like Brock they will be a lot higher than playing with a guy like Sven.

You can already see his value to this team with his absence . He is a very big part of this club.

Underestimating bo, hes still trending upwards, I will say by 25 to 27 he will be unstoppable.

No question, he's a great player for the Canucks, they miss him badly. I'm just thinking more in NHL terms than Canuck terms though. The Canucks have only drafted a handful of special players in the league, like I mentioned, Bure and the Sedins were great players in the NHL not just as Canucks.

Guys like Trevor Linden and Ryan Kesler were great Canucks, but they weren't great or special players in the NHL's broader sense. Horvat will be a Kesler type player without the douchbag moniker that he came with.

If Horvat can be like a Brad Richards or a Brad Richards lite, I'd be more than happy with that.

Brad Richardson the 4th liner center? That has topped out at 31 points?

Perhaps, I hope you're right, I just don't see it myself. Like I just said, if he can be like Brad Richards I think Gillis made a great pick there and the Canucks would be more than happy.

But back to my original statement, I don't see him as a special player in the NHL.

I don't think Bo is like either Sedin different type of players. Bo has offence , a good face off guy , faster and defensively responsible despite his early plus/ minus numbers. I would look at his style more like Bergeron
