Just checked in, we lost, but, the two kids scored so that's a positive. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Canucks are bottom five by the TDL and the tank will be on again. Which is good news! Hopefully Benning can pick up another 2nd and 3rd rounder.

The thing about Stecher and Hutton is they are stop gaps. Very little trade value but holding the fort until OJ and Holm are ready or the new Dman we draft this year.

Gudbrandson is the only trade chip we hold this year and possibly Vanek

Pretty safe bet. It's just reality with this current roster with injuries plus we have zero depth players to step up and score with 4-5 starters out of the lineup.

This pipe dream of the playoffs need to end and we can focus on that top 5 pick which we sorely need.

Last year we could see three forwards we drafted that look like NHLers. We also had Gaudette from previous years and Dahlen and Goldobin.

Canucks this year should use every pick to draft D. If you can get two NHL skilled prospects to play D then that will cover a big hole.
