I wasn't until he started replicating last year's success this season.
I assumed, I believe justly, that last year was just an aberration and he'd regress back to the mean this season. But somehow he is finally turning into what Isles fans hoped he would. Only took 8 years. |

Long term development. Garth's rub and tugs for the long haul. |

This will work best for teams with a buch of long-term larger salaries rather than non-cap-limit teams.
Many players will now get more than they would have on the open market.
Watch... OTT still trades Karlsson lol |

Hey Ek:
Would you be willing to pay me $1,000 to teach the Hockeybuzz bloggers how to use an apostrophe properly? I’d be willing to throw in proper usage of the words ironic, fortuitously, literally and decimate.
If $1,000 seems too much, I would be willing to do it for a Hockeybuzz touque.
Seriously, Ek: the level of writing here needs some polite encouragement to improve. Right now, I am figuratively pulling my hair out. - Atomic Wedgie
Well, the first place to start is the Mike Augello blog & comments thread. The riff raff floating around in some of the sentaces there is quite offensive - & the punctuation is just as bad.
So Dilly Dilly & let's not forget the 2nd t in God. |

yay, another lockout coming! - MBFlyerfan
Why would there be a lockout? The cap is directly linked to the revenues of the league. It keeps rising because the league (and so the teams) are making more and more money. |

Personally I think that would be a mistake. A 7 mill increase is good for teams like Minnesota who's GM has them handcuffed by the cap right now, but it's great for teams like Chicago, Pittsburgh, Washington etc... Put's a big dent in the whole "parity" conversation. |
