Aside from both traditional and fancy stats, Raffl seemed like he was playing well, he just wasn't getting any breaks. He got robbed a handful of times and his linemates weren't helping much. He also wins his fair share of boards battles but could learn to use his size a bit more at times. I don't expect him to put up 20+ goals, but I think that 10-12 goals, 15-20 assists, and solid 2-way play is doable for him, which I will gladly take. - jmatchett383
Raffl was playing well enough in his role as a 4th line wing. There was still an open question whether he would produce at enough of a pace to justify giving him Top 9 minutes. That question has been answered as he's rolling. I like the idea of an all-Euro line. Now we have two lines that are a legit threat. Raffl does have good size and strength on the boards. If they keep the current Top 9 going, the Flyers have decent size too as Konecny is the only truly small forward. Weal and Leier as the wings on the 4th line are a little smallish but that's a minor gripe if the team keeps winning. |

He's the one prospect I'm most intrigued about. - Pelle31Forever
Me too. Kid's got speed, sense and skill and a 6'1 frame that should fill out to 195 or so. He has all the tools to be a very good NHL player. |

Really good road trip..
All the things that were sucking such as Simmonds being slow, not getting breaks, no offense seems to be turning around substantially.
Elliot really seems to be a good person from all interviews with him.
Wish they didnt have such a large break right now but at least its the Leafs on the other side.

I'm pretty sure Scientology is real, there are more than enough idiots in the world to keep the scam going. Wyoming and Australia are obviously just made up words though. - BiggE
Scientology is my second favorite scam after "Lularoe Salesperson". |

Did not see 3 straight against the Northwest as a result of this trip. Hopefully this team can start to regain some of their confidence back and play like they were the first 8 games or so. |

He looked decent in preseason. Good to have the depth down the middle like Flyers have. |

Rafl has not been used on the 4th unit prior to this year. He should not be on the top six. He is a fair 3rd line and the PERFECT 4th line player on A GOOD TEAM. He is on the second line because the Flyers are not currently a good team.
I wouldn't (frank) with the lines now, as things are working. I would like to see:
11-14-93
28-19-17
12-51-40
20-21-22
Or please bring Veccs up for Weiss.
I really would like to see how Patrick could do with G. Just not sure how much Coots means to Gs revival. I don't want Patrick's development to be at Gs expense. - jaws1955
It's my opinion that Raffl can play a 3rd line role on any team including a top team. He skates and pressures the puck well, plays well defensively, is strong on the forecheck. The more skilled players he plays with the better player he will be. It's a symbiotic relationship.

I cannot answer this question unless it is accompanied by a Seinfeld image of some sort. |

Raffl may have the skills to play on the 3rd line but we've been getting 4th line production his entire career. |

He has Proven he can score, not sure what his ceiling is this year. I always liked his game and ability to move around. I guess that I am just hoping that the Flyers became a good enough team that Rafl can't climb above the 4th line. How good would that team be? All that said, he is playing great with Jake, as always and Filp works well with them. |

Yes he did. Hit double digits at least once more, maybe twice. |
