I was a fan of his since his draft year. Was hoping the Canucks would take him with the ANA first rounder but I liked the McCann pick.

Oh, I’m not opposed to the trade. It clears out a bit of the log jam in Utica, gets another contract off the books next year, and provides a little insurance in the bottom six for the remainder of the season
