Hello,
I was in Calgary over this past weekend and was fortunate enough to be staying in the same hotel as the Flyers. Had the opportunity to shake a few hands and give a few words of encouragement to the boys.
Therefore I am the catalyst for this turn around. Your welcome. - SimmerDown

Will you be in Vancouver? If they lose tonight we will now know why. - MBFlyerfan
When I spoke to Mr Hextall we agreed on snapping the losing skid and turning it into a 3 game Canada sweep. All games moving forward are out of my hands. |

That's because I scratched him from my fantasy lineup and now he's depressed. |

Cleveland Browns are looking for their 9th GM since 1999. Rumor has it that Mike Milbury, Terry Bradshaw, Carrottop and Altscoob are all on the shortlist of candidates. |

Bill Meltzer: Gameday Preview: 12/7/17 @ VAN, Wrap: Flyers Skate Past Oilers, 4-2 - bmeltzer
Kimmo Timonen, Mark Streit, Shayne Gostisbehere, Ivan Provorov.
Since Peter Laviolette adjusted the Power Play to the current umbrella format, in my mind nobody has played as responsible as Kimmo Timonen. Timonen didn't turnover the puck. He kept things simple. He was also always defensively aware. The turnover that led to the first goal shorthanded was all Sean Couturier but the effort on Shayne Gostisbehere was nothing short of terrible. I feel like Ghost is going to lose his spot to Provorov much sooner then later. Timonen was smart. He knew when to shoot. When to pass. When to take a slap shot from the top of the umbrella. He knew when to wrist the puck through traffic while looking for Simmonds or Hartnell's tape. I think I see more Timonen in Provorov than Ghost, who I feel doesn't always play that smart on the PP. |

I've been wanting to see this too.
Weal Coots Jake
G Patrick Konecny
Leier Flip Simmonds
Raffl Laughton Weise - hereticpride
I'd switch the top 2 lines to:
Giroux Coots Jake
Weal Patrick Konecny
That way, you don't have to juggle lines when you bench the kids in the 3rd period. |

I'd call the Browns a dumpster fire, but that would be insulting to both trash receptacles and fires. |

Timonen was an All-Star defenseman who was both talented and smart. He was one of the best 2-way defenders in team history. Gostisbehere is an offensively minded defenseman who will always have defensive issues. Effort is a different issue, but Ghost is a guy who will always have to walk a fine line and sometimes he'll cross it. |

I remember hearing something like since the franchise "restarted" in Cleveland they still don't have their 100th win? |

Sitting at 88 wins, one playoff appearance (wild card loss), and still a complete joke. |

Not sure how our youth getting little or no play in the 3rd aids in development.

Didn't they start up in like 97 or something? That's literally 4 wins a year over 20 years. Jesus
And like you said one of those seasons was a 8-10 win season if they made the wild card.
So discounting that ONE season....holy moley |
