He's not a friend of mine. I see him because my wife is very close with her sister. Which won't be happening at Christmas. They have been on and off for 4 years now. His actions seem to be escalating. He has never admitted he needed help before. See if he follows through with it and becomes a better person and I will consider letting my family be around him again.

If he has money he can start rehab tonight. There should be many other, more affordable options which are often faith based but the waiting lists can be long.
