Bo Horvat’s injury is a fracture (ankle). No precise timeline yet until a specialist reviews the imaging. Obviously, week to week.

If its 6 - 8 weeks, that's a minimum 17 games missed. Break in December helps plus the break in january.

Travis green just said its a broken foot. I guess a broken foot is "better" than a broken ankle, if you are looking long term. Horvat has the biggest balls on the team returning to the game and trying to play on that

I agree. Hate hearing ankle, knee, shoulder injuries cause you know the risk of having long term effects. Atleast with a broken foot, i dont think its as bad.

Yep. He told the media last night he was held out for precautionary reasons with the score being 3-0. Now he says this morning he told the media that cause he thought it was just a bruise. I think even green knows what he is going to not get with Bo out.

Didn’t Sundin come back from a broken foot in like 10 days or something? Weak Canadian kids...

A break is actually better than muscular damage as it heals quicker.

Two points behind VAN, we shouldn't complain about injuries too much. It's one player.

I broke the inside of my foot from a clapper in hockey. Hurt and swoll like a beetch. Xray was negative, MRI picked it up. Note to anyone who plays or is going to play hockey, never buy reebok pumps 20k skates, soft boots. Full 8 weeks before i could walk without limping.

Good thing you only weigh 100lbs, it really would have hurt walking otherwise.

I have played on a broken foot...pretty devastating trying to stop. This is really good news, a knee or ankle is far worse.
