Oilers stink
The Edmonton Lottos - Nighthawk
Holy Crap you are so right!!
I think they signed Draisaitl long term just too soon. Tonight he was lost.... not just "average but invisible" like a David Booth, he was just confused out there.
And now they have an easy excuse with their goalie injury and that's sad as no one takes responsibility.
How long can the coach and/or Gm Last!? Christmas? |

Dr Drai is a really good player, but the guy's numbers were inflated by playing with McJesus, his numbers away from McJesus are 100% not worthy of the contract he got. |

The funny thing is their current GM/Coach are probably the best they've had in years.
i'd give em Gudbranson, Vanek and Demko for Dr Drai.
edit: looks like someone used that Dre reference right before me.

Dr Drai (Cause, you know... Edmonton is so Urban) does not have a power play point yet this season.

I see what Ottawa is doing. They are tanking to get Dahlin or Boqvist. OR BOTH if they trade Karlsson at the draft. |

For all that time where the canucks fans were chiming in on how bad JB was and ranked him near last amongst NHL GM's.
Buffalo... 2- 2OA picks. Last in the league.
Arizona..Child, oops meant Chyka
Edmonton lotto's.
Florida 2-3OA, 1-2OA, 1-1OA in the past 7 years.
Ottawa traded their first round pick this year for Matt Duchene. At least they got it top 10 protected. They have Karlsson and still suck ass.
Canucks have yet to see the 2 highest drafted players since the Sedin's.

The anchors that have been weighing the team down will be gone next season.
Simple fact is JB is nowhere near as bad as so many fans were claiming. Linden can go, I still have no idea what he actually does. |

Don't crush Vantel like that. Too early in the morning AND it's game day. |

Yes he was, but he appears to be getting better, just saying....he finished second and third last in the entire league while spending to the cap and trying to win. Only to tank at the trade deadline for the past two years which landed him Juolevi and Pettersson. Thankfully!! |

Flyers on a 2 game winning streak. No Horvat. No Sutter. No Gudbranson. I think Van wins 2-1 |

I can truthfully see one more year, they're actually being ok production wise. Hopefully not, but I wouldn't be surprised, unless Tavares has some Canuck blue on |

Maybe the team can't be overhauled in a single season. You are the person who is always talking about 6 years of a rebuild. Yet expected him to accomplish it in 2-3. Who cares if they spend to the Cap. TML spent 10 million over the cap to finish worse. Maybe if he got some draft lottery luck. Hence the need to fire TL. |

Jim's first 2 1/2 year were less than spectacular. Things turned a little at TDL finally. I still think he is too honest and close to the players. |

Of course it can't be but that doesn't mean Benning wasn't bad at his job, he was! They are two separate things, being bad at your job and the amount of time it takes to rebuild.
I'll give him this, he assembled poop lineups that he expected more from but he was wise enough to tank at the TDL when he saw the garbage he put together. Drafting Boeser and getting lucky enough to draft Pettersson might be his saving grace, then again he might be fired this year or not extended? |

Heard him speak last night and you're right, they've obviously given him media lessons as he doesn't sound like such a dumbass now |

Doesn't he have a point per game despite this? I'd say what's a little early is... bashing on a kid still recovering from injury |

Philly is starting to roll again and we have no defensive centers... this could get ugly. 5-1 philly |

I would not be so quick to fire TMc in Edmonton but really..... what has he done other than always move in on organizations that were already strong. He is not a builder.
7 years with a powerful team in San Jose with nothing to show for it.
2 years in Edmonton with nothing but potential and nothing to show.
He reminds me of Bob Hartley.... always comes to a promising team but does nothing with it. I could have coached the Stanley Cup Champs in 2001. But give him a team that needs help growing... Atlanta, Calgary and he is not the guy.
I would not mind Edmonton's record so much -- -after all, their D is very thin, Goal tending very average on the starter and below professional standards on the backup.
To me it is all about Expectations. If they thought they would be top 8 in the League, Top 3 in the Conference and be Bottom 3 in both.... thats too much to accept.
Fire Todd. |
