That's what people on twitter were saying, that it would be Lehner for Neuvirth. I don't understand this trade from either side, Philly isn't in a position to need to upgrade a goalie and I wouldn't call Lehner much of an upgrade.

They aren't reeling because of the Neuvirth injury and hunting for a playoff spot so need him while Neuvirth is hurt.

I'm calling this rumor the bologna that people keep talking about.

Maybe I'm missing the sarcasm but shouldn't we give a prospect time to develop before we jump there? He was a kid in the AHL on a bad team last year, he's hardly played after an injury this year. Let's see what we've got before saying he's a bum.

Were they the same draft class? I don't remember and don't feel like looking it up. I do know that Nylander went straight to the AHL when we drafted him and was one of the youngest kids there. This was the year I wanted to see what he had, but the injury didn't help.
