I'm not saying your comment was wrong, just that overall they started to get dominated. I didn't like how the caps just cycled on #15,#2 and #44 on that first goal. They moved and made it into pretty much a couple consecutive 3 on 2s in that corner of the zone. They got schooled, especially Rutta leaving Backstrom all alone.

He has had his moments, but I don't see the smooth skating and plays we were used to from him. He is more like a #2D this year than a #1D.

It is a bit ironic that many people worried about Murphy, Kempny, Rutta, and Forsling but Keith and Seabrook have been below expectations more so. Murphy has been okay and Rutta/Forsling better than most expected.

For the sake of the Blackhawks, I hope that he is settling into his new team and can start to bring that complete package he has on display tonight(and more recently).

What are you thinking about how Q spread out the offensive talent in this game? The Toews line is still driving possession. The 2nd and 3rd lines have some dynamic playmakers.

At the game and ugh...well at least they scored...second caps goal was killer...and anisimov misses the rebound and it's 3... 1st 10 min were ok...looks like 5th strt game without a lead

Hard to know all the facts, but I do wonder what is the whole story there. I was hoping he could be an everyday guy. I still think it is likely he is the odd man out on the blueline come July 1st, unless the Hawks get aggressive about moving a larger salary.

The lines look good. They had some jump and just as I was hoping, the Hayden, Hartman, Bouma, Wingels infectious, hard skating/hitting style was working up front.

Should be 1-1 if they (/Forsberg) didn't have that breakdown. On the WASH goals:

Goal #1: Keith turnover puts Rutta in tough position to defend a quick pass to the slot.

Goal #2: Forgberg took his eye off Wilson and the puck to see Backstrom cut through the slot and let up a terrible (terrible!) goal.

Goal #3: Keith caught pinching and Franson and AA not quick enough to catch up to lob pass. Then bad rebound by Forsberg, coupled with Keith doing a fly by and AA not picking up the puck or taking OV.


Not ideal.

I think it isn't unreasonable either, given how much hockey he has played and the apparent impact of that knee injury that slowed him down. I hope he can get back on top of his game.

I think Forsling, Rutta, and Murphy are going to be good as the year rolls on. Franson is exactly what they expected my only complaint is he is playing every game. Seabrook and Keith have been awful this year.

I really can't figure out why Q won't give Kempney some games. He can't be any worse then some of the mistakes and plays tonight by the D.
